The room didn’t have pillows or blankets. The elevator didn’t work, and the “breakfast” was awful. The toilet wasn’t bolted down and the pool was green. I wish I could give it no stars

The beds for a double were twin beds not enough room, very small space there was a coke can beside on of the beds. Had a strange small the pool was gross had a white film all over it and the pool chairs were broken. When I informed the staff and asked for a refund for my parking I was told a manager would contact me and no one has contacted me at all

So this was just u basic motel. Nothing was super nice and fancy. Honestly was not the worst one as far as cleaning and falling apart. For the price i paid i expected less. Staff was helpful but not really cause we couldnt get wash rags, some kind of weird shortage. Only got 3 washrags for 3 people for 4 nights. I will say we did get 3 more before we left. The breakfast was alright for free you could find something to fill you up. The staff was very helpful in giving us another room card because we needed 2. It was nice to walk across the street and put ur toes in the sand. The beds were full sized and we all slept well. The fridge in the room was so frozen couldnt fit our left overs. So i defrosted it for em cause i didnt want to spend time getting ice for my coolerfor 4 days. I would stay here again for the price but my family is kinda bougie they said never again.

the man at front desk was very rude the room was nasty and not made up, no blankets on bed bed just throwed together when ask for blankets told us to talk to office,no towels in bathroom, we did not stay we checked out went to another motel. i cannot believe yall have not had so many bad reviews on this place, also they denied us a refund but we will be talking to the wingate office and bbb about it and the fact that epedia is not able to do anything about it so will not use expedia anymore either because they said cant help, i wish i had taken pictures the ones advertised do not show a true state of it this place is terrible i had to tell the man at desk not to talk to my wife the way he was, she said something to me and he started telling her she was rude i truly hope expedia checks this place out

The room itself was relatively clean. It could use a deep clean though. There was no soap or shampoo in the containers in the shower, the parking lot had trash where we parked, and the blow dryer didn’t work. It looks like they’re working on cosmetic improvements, but need to pay closer attention to necessities.

From the first floor you have a street view. But my issue is with the rooms that appear to have water damage to the ceilings, rusty pool furniture, rusty pool fencing, rusty/broken pool bannister. My child cut her foot and I had to beg for a bandaid. Four people were expected to share 3 towels. They said they would hold $50 but held and processed a total of $270 instead of the $140 I booked it for, and of course management is no help and of course they wouldn't give a receipt with check out. What a rip-off with no end in sight.

It says continental breakfast but all that was out was waffles and bread for toast, cereal but no milk in jug. Ran out of OJ and apple juice. We we asked we were told “What you see is what you get”. We had to put a very thin comforter on the bed that we found in the closet. Beds only had the sheets on them. The room had no conditioner and only one set of towels for a double. No coffee maker or cups in the room. Not your usually Wingate hotel. Also an extra charge for everything….late check out and parking. $15/hr/day.

There were no staff upon arrival and had to wait for someone to come and help us. The darkness in the lobby gave us an impression of disregard to guests arriving late. Also, they told us that we need to pay $15 for parking of which it wasn't on the site. Reluctantly we paid and proceed to our room and upon entering the room smelled like something died inside. The rotten smell and the carpet were not cleaned for a long time. All interior didn't have a clean smell and the towels were stained. We returned to the main office and asked to have another unit since the one given had many issues including outlets not working. The second was a little better, but we decided none would be better, so we stayed. The breakfast served were the bare minimum and with not up to par servings units. This place I would not recommend for anyone that is looking for a clean and relaxing place to stay.

Staff poor. First time we went there was almost 11. Lady said rooms were not ready to come back in an hour or so. Went back 2 hours later. Man said check in wasn’t until 4. So we came back at around 5. Finally got in Room Room needs some painting, no click, refrigerator was set on highest.cold. Frozen fruit $12 terrible had to throw out. Stayed 5 days, had no one to clean our room. I had to go hunt down cleaning person to get extra wash cloths and hand towels. Use large bath towels all 5 days. Said dining room was open from 6/9. Went there at 8:45 and everything was fine. Breakfast consisted of 2 very old apples. Bread ends were curling, there were some kind of rolls that were not fresh to touch, as I used a napkin to test freshness. Only thing we had was coffee and couldn’t complain about that. Told all our many friends who live there how dissatisfied we were. Even after trying to gain access to room asked if we could cancel our room. Man said no we couldn’t and if we wanted we could pay for one day and had to wait 48 hours for cancellation. Have travel all over ySA and have never been so dissatisfied. Of our friends what a bad place it was. We have lots of friends there as I lived there for 35 years.

I am surprised that Wyndham allows this property to operate under their name. Just the appearance of the property itself screams negligence. The room was horrible. The overwhelming scent of bleach hit as soon as we walked in the door, there were large stains on the walls, and the beds were full size beds instead of the queen beds we reserved. Would give zero stars if possible.

Very great customer service, clean room, comfortable bed, just wish they had some other hand soap instead of a bar of soap and you can hear the room next too you very clearly they also charged a incidental fee of $50 that I didnt know about but overall other than that great stay!

Staff could care less. Dirty bottom sheet on one bed, 2 adults we got no washcloths and only one hand and bath towel. Woke up TWICE early evening and middle of night by blaring fire alarm which staff just dismissed as someone smoking in their room. TWICE and not even an apology. Worst stay ever Avoid this place!!!
