Nice room, good value

It's not in a walkable part of town, it's a little old, but the staff seems to take good care. Clean room and everything worked. Plus they had continental breakfast. Perfect spot for a guy riding a motorcycle cross country.

Not so good experiment

Motel were really bad shape. The guy In check In were really nice and freindly. Pool were full of mud. Though, there wasn’t mention, that there would be a pool to swim, but that pool made everything look dirty. In the yard was trashes, really messy. Room were tolerable, but there was some bottle In the fridge. Location didn’t feel safe so we left and didn’t slept there at all.

Not a good choice

The turnitures are broken. There is no hair dryer. The sink faucet has hot water, but the shower only has slightly warm water. There is not enough food for breakfast, very very limited choices. The small refrigerator has broken legs. The only good things are the beds are clean and the staff is frendly.

This place is a ruin. There's a giant sinkhole in the parking lot. The room was clean but the bathroom counter was worn, the sink had been painted and it was flaking. The television was laughably bad with a useless remote and the satellite signal cut in and out. A motel best suited for drug deals

Check in was friendly enough. The outdoor/parking area was poorly maintained and bad shape. The room was clean but very run down. The toilet was not securely attached to the floor and the TV would not turn on.in general, a poorly kept old property.

Nice, But With Train Whistle Noise

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. Our initial room had a wall heater unit that made a lot of noise for a bit when it first came on. They gave us a different room for the 2nd night and said they were repairing the heater unit in the room with the noisy one. Being along Rt 40, there was heavy train traffic and a whistle would blow 4x with each train. It was pretty well muffled, but that noise might bother some. I would assume that the train whistle noise would be an issue with most hotels in the general area.

It was fairly typical of an old motel that hasn’t been kept up. I can understand the lack of reservations has the location is a bit off the travel route. It was a cold night yet the heater keep me warm. My shower in the morning was a shock! Only Luke warm water. Then went to use the hair dryer and it made a horrible sound and started to smoke. The front desk did being me another. Can’t say I will stay there again.

The property dates from Route 66 days, and looks every bit its age. I was expecting the worst, but the room, dated though it was, was clean and comfortable. Shower and bathroom old but good. The TV turned on but all channels were unwatchable because of snowy screen. AC unit worked very well. Room quiet except for train tracks on other side of road. The area itself is very very poor but walkable...I walked three blocks for excellent Mexican food. But the town has seen better days so it can be unsettling. Recommended though if you need a good night rest at good price.

Broken dead bolt.

Arrived late night, was placed in back of property. Had a hard time opening the door. Dead bolt did not work. Was a bit worried about security since it was 3 women traveling. Free breakfast was free , did have waffles. Whole motel was a bit worn out. Not what I expected from Days Inn. Only plus was price was right.
