Nice place to sleep and comfortable. However, I'm not a smoker, and there is a strong smoking odor. They have a smoking room, but I'm sensitive to smoking smells from 2nd hand. All other than that, great place!
If you don’t speak Japense and are unfamiliar with a bathhouse and not looking for a traditional experience this is not the spot for you. I enjoyed my stay and the experience overall. The building is old and shows its age. However they keep the place clean for how old it is and change your sheets daily. One night was a little to warm for my liking but the other nights were a good cold temperature. I would stay again.
Great atmosphere. The sauna and hot tub area is fantastic. The capsule was fine. It had plug in for charging and lights, TV. The bed itself was a bit stiff, but I still slept fine.
Close to train stations, close to shopping and all sorts of food. The street it is on is lively and fun.
I would definitely spend a night here again if I ever go back to Japan.
Shampoo, shaving blades were provided to keep you looking fabulous.
Highly recommend.
Breakfast was also great 👍
A pretty old school capsule hotel with the strong smell of cigarettes that come with it. The location was good, perfect for catching an early Narita flight.
Staff was excellent and lovely. The facilities are old so only so much maintenance can go into it. The air smells of mildew and cigarettes from long ago (I don’t think there’s smoking allowed in common areas, but they might have been allowed long ago as the smell still lingers).
Old building from past era but I am familiar with those times. Need to replace old toilets with new modern TOTO western ones. I don’t recommend it for people who can’t tolerate tobacco

*****DO NOT BOOK IF YOU HAVE TATTOOS*****
I was turned away at the door for having Tattoos. The rental website does not say anything regarding a No Tattoo policy. I tried getting my money refunded and Expedia declined stating the property refused to return my money. I gave these people money to kick me out at 1 AM while I visited Japan.
This property needs to add a NO TATTOO warning on their website.
