"sometimes you see a listing and wonder if it can really be that nice THIS b and b EXCEEDED all expectations from tThe owner greeting us and transporting our luggage to hotel from the bus stop and guiding us our charming and HUGE accommodations EVERY single detail was thought of from a map of the town marked with where to eat where the bet fews were to insider info on when to take pictures (after 8 pm when all the tourist buses depart!!) As a western in Taiwan I had been very hot in a hotel ( a/c set to 88 dergrees F) I was so appreciative of the lovely ac which we could set the temp there was tea coffee and hot and room temp filtered water The room was as big as ot looks in the listing with wonderful views and amazing details ( binding shoes from long ago the beds were comfy. I just cannot say enough about his stay We were late for breakfast-- we got a little lost and a little distracted and they were totally fine with that Breakfast was delicious fresh fruit eggs and a delish sandwich. only bad part of out stay it was too short!!!!"

"Affordable breakfast option. Owners were nice and very cute dog. Room was ok, bed was comfortable but the bedding was very hot, not the standard hotel sheets. Overall the room was a bit dusty with dingy lightly. Great view tho. I would recommend for view. Overall accessibility was not great. Our taxi dropped us off at the top of the driveway and it was a pretty steep walk down to the property. Also long set of stone stairs to our room, so if you have suitcases it is difficult, especially when its raining because its slippery. To get anywhere, you also need to climb a very long set of stairs to get to the main restaurants and streets. It's a workout. "

"This property has a lot of stairs, very unique accommodation situated within the Jiufen old street. The views were amazing from the room and of course superb location to tour the area. Clean and super convenient to have hot water directly from the tap for drinks. There’s a coffee machine at the common area, lots of free snacks, bread, buns, packet drinks as well. The staff were outstanding, 2 ladies waited for our car to arrive and led us to the accommodation, helping with our luggage as well. Amy was super detailed with the introduction to our room and the surrounding. Sweet and helpful lady, thanks a lot Amy to you and your team. I really loved the stay with Something Easy Inn!"

"We absolutely adore this Japanese homestay nestled atop Jiufen. The room is immaculate and spotless, and the hostess serves delectable breakfasts every morning. On clear days, the view from the dining room is breathtakingly spectacular, allowing you to see the entire Jiufen town stretching all the way to the ocean. It’s a beautiful and awe-inspiring sight! "Out of season there are amenities that are closed. Only one restaurant is open seven days a week. Service at the restaurant ther than at breakfast was lacking. This place is designed for people with small children so I wouldn’t suggest going there if you don’t. The view from the dining room and most of the rooms is good but the beach itself needs to be cleaned"

"Very kind and helpful staff - we really appreciated being able to store our luggage prior to check-in. The room was spacious and clean, and the balcony view was absolutely stunning. Jiufen can be quite busy and loud, so we loved the inn’s quieter location, while still being conveniently walkable to the main bus stop for day trips and hikes."
