Independent Frutigen District hotels

"Funky hotel, but very nice with large common areas. Totally contact-less (keys are on a phone app), about 10 minute walk from train station. Most tourist sites are close. Our room was a little odd (upper floor with sloped ceilinds, bed in middle of room). The bed was comfortable, and it's one of the few places we found with air-conditioning (slow, but it eventually made the foom nice on a hot day. But there is a kitchen area and refrigerator available for guests, as well as a free washer and dryer! The breakfast was very good with a nice variety. "

"Beautiful hotel, close to train station (but uphill if carrying suitcases! ). Great service, lovely breakfast, and nice amenities available: a spa (sauna and steam room) and access to the adjacent sports center, with a nice pool and jacuzzi.
