「The price was good. The bed was comfortable. The first room had a very strong chemical fragrance that triggered asthma, and they did kindly give us a different room where they didn't spray that fragrance. Had to wait until it was cleaned. The new room smelled of ancient cigarette smoke residue, the small amount that lingers after a place is fixed up. No musty/moldy smell, which was good. So we stayed. 「It's not a luxury hotel, so you can't expect that. Two out of our 3 rooms unfortunately had issues. The first room had a really dirty toilet seat; the front desk was able to find us some lysol spray. The second room had ants on the bed, and they found a different room for those guests. Ants are a hazard for any motel, and other than those things, the room looked really clean (though I don't trust the carpet in any motel). The a/c unit worked be the wifi worked. 「No kleenex..towels small and thin. No frills for sure. Lighting dark. But convenient. Ridiculous how they hike a $70 room to $200 for Trade days. For that much..give us a blow dryer..Kleenex and some decent towels and blankets without cigarette holes.」

「The property is old. The bed and flooring were good. The fold over lock did not work and had been repaired poorly. The bathroom shower was cracked in 2 places. Paint splatter all over. Some bugs in bathroom area. Front curtains would not close , exposing the inside beds. I had to us clips for privacy.」

「Booked this room because it said an RV park and motel on the lake. We were looking for a place family could stay in the motel and we could camp during the Crappie Fest next year. What a joke! The RV park is a trashy full-time trailer park. The so-called convenience store had zero air conditioning, nothing on the shelves and definitely nothing to order for dinner. 「Nice little cabin but the pictures are deceiving. Makes it look like there are two rooms and a kitchen. Ours was just one room with a mini fridge and microwave. I think you just get whatever room is available. They also said the restaurant (snack bar) was open until 7 and it was already closed at 6:40. Other than that the facility was nice and great family setting with lots of things to do. 」
