"We planned a short getaway to Friday Harbor with our two small children. I booked the room with the garden terrace not quite knowing what to expect. WOW! Although we felt a little awkward with the kids (most people staying there at the time did not have kids), we were very warmly welcomed by the staff. "The staff was super kind and accommodating. I stayed twice on either end of a busy weekend, and they seemed to have everything in order for us both times. Bonus points for having an extra small phillips screwdriver for me to borrow in a pinch. And a USB charger plug thingy. Another place i like to stay has alarm clocks that have USB ports for charging, which would be handy in the future but no pointa lost for ME being unprepared. 😝"
