Nice time in this facility. Nice spa area. Hiking tours and restaurants are nearby. Check in was a little bumpy. WLAN was non existent in rooms, only in central areas.

Wi-Fi did not work. Bar shut at 7 pm No allocated disabled parking and parking in short supply. Overpriced dinner. menu and no convenient local dining alternative,s. Hotels.com website states hotel has 2 pools indoor. And outdoor which is untrue. Access to restaurant requires use of stairs. This hotel is still stuck in the 19th century.

Nice hotel but odd experience with employees
Our stay was pleasant, although our room had strongly slanted ceilings. Unfortunately, the employees seemed very unhappy/annoyed to see guests: checkin and checkout were done by the most unenthusiastic employees I've seen in a hotel for a long time, and in the middle of my afternoon nap, a handyman (repairman?) appeared in our room using the master key. He claimed to need to fix a broken mirror, which was not the case. Later, another employee entered our room with the master key, seemingly not expecting it to be occupied.

I was very disappointwm ftom the houskeeping.we had probkem with closet foor that stucked.Took 2days to fix it.and its happened again.the stuff told that they are sorry.the fact thst I cant get my closes was not important for them. I expect to get cssh back for this.

Very attentive staff
This is a historic hotel which had been complete restored. It has wonderful architectural features such as parkay floors and Greek columns in the main dining room. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. They have a wonderful Spa area with both a large steam room and a large sauna, plus a pool and fitness area as well as they offer massages!

Nice for being pampered
This is a beautiful art deco hotel in a very quiet neighborhood. The hotel is known for its spa treatments, that are of good quality. The hotel is frequented by older guests. The restaurant is good and has a quality wine menu.

An amazing place to stay
The hotel is simply great. Having an old-fashioned design its maintenance is excellant with all the modern facilities one would like to have. The rooms are very comfortable and very good equipped. It is located in a very convenient location. The staff is very friendly, though it wouldn't hurt to make some improvements in the SPA services. Bottom line, it's highly recommended.

Positive - A very luxurious hotel, very well-equipped rooms, excellent spa, excellent service, very good breakfast, near the city center (you can walk to center) Negative - no air conditioning in the rooms and WIFI communication can be received only in the lobby and around (I could not connect to the Internet in the room with cable I got from the reception). Summary - I highly recommend the hotel.

A complete Hotel

This Hotel is a 500 year old building and is amazing from head to toe. The only complaint is the pool closes at 8pm.

Nice new grand hotel
Nicely remodeled .staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant was outstanding but very pricey. Rooms are small but lovely. Staff did know how to advise on wifi operations, bit you can figure it out. Great value!

Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel
Mein Aufenthalt im Palmenwald war tolle. Bis auf den Wellnessbereich,dieser war total nass und der Service hat hier leider nicht wirklich darauf geschaut. Ebenso war kein Aufguss vorhanden und auch die Luft nicht gut,da keine Fenster. Das Frühstück hingegen war wirklich toll und die Z8mmer historisch und gemütlich.

Die Aussicht ist wunderschön, das Personal ist sehr nett, zu Fuß ist viel erreichbar. Der Pool ist zwar ein wenig kühl der Raum allerdings gut beheizt. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich. Würden wieder hin gehen. Preis leistung ist top👍 Restaurant war uns persönlich doch ein wenig zu kostspielig aber das Frühstück war super (viel Auswahl)... Bademäntel und Handtücher lagen ohne Aufpreis im Zimmer bereit. Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet 😊👍sehr empfehlenswert

obwohl unser zimmer nicht benutz war, hat man uns angelogen , dass zimmer ist noch nicht fertig und wir mussten uns nach längerer reise noch 40 minuten im dorf herum schlagen bis wir ins zimmer dürften 😬 schade , kleinlich .

Entsprechend dem äußeren Erscheinungsbild sind die Räumlichkeiten zwar sauber aber nicht auf angenehme Zimmertemperatur aufzuheizen; vorhandene Klapp-Rollläden sind marode und teilw. nicht arritierbear (schlagen bei Starkwind) Der Wellnessbereich ist annehmbar. Die gebuchte Halbpension - Frühstück Abendessen - sind mit 5 Punkten zu bewehrten, wäre das Weihnachtsmenü, für das zusätzliche Kosten verlangt wurde, nicht total in die Hose gegangen: die meisten Gäste haben das zähe Gansfleisch zurück gegeben. Für mich eine neue Erfahrung: nie wieder dieses Hotel und nie wieder an Weihnachten sich etwas Gutes tun wollen.

Wellness Wochenende mit Tochter
Wir waren bei Ankunft positiv überrascht. Das Personal war stets freundlich. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr vielfältig, großes Angebot und preisgünstig. Das Wasser vom Schwimmbecken hätte etwas wärmer sein können. Frühstück sehr vielseitig, das Essen im Restaurant sehr schmackhaft. Beim betreten unseres Zimmers nahmen wir einen unangenehmen Geruch war. Wir gehen davon aus dass dieser aus den Abflussrohre von Dusche, Badewanne und Waschbecken kommt. Wahrscheinlich war das Zimmer längere Zeit nicht bewohnt. eine Kontrolle vor der Belegung wäre ratsam. Auch in den Treppenhäuser war zeitweise schlechte Gerüche . Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.

Agréable séjour
Chambre un peu juste pour 2, tout comme la salle de bain. Sinon les chambres sont bien insonorisées, le personnel est vraiment très accueillant et sympathique. La piscine était un peu froide ce week-end, mais la partie spa est tout de même très sympa.

Das 130 Jahre alte Haus hat den ganzen Charme bewahrt, ohne verstaubt zu wirken. Architektur und Mobiliar sind stilvoll und geschmackvoll bis ins kleinste Detail aufeinander abgestimmt. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Essen - Frühstücksbuffet und Abendessen ist sehr gut und der Wellnessbereich rundet den Eindruck eines sehr angenehmen Aufenthaltes ab. Die Aroma-Massage bei Ingrid war noch ein ganz besonderes Highlight. Vielen Dank der Hotelleitung und dem Personal und freundliche Grüße S.H.

Gut für eine Nacht
Unser Superior Hotelzimmer war leider hinten raus, dunkel und mit Aussicht auf zwei vergammelte Liegenschaften. Internet hab’s nicht in diesem Zimmer, nur in den öffentlichen Räumen.
