We really had a nice stay at Hotel Gasthaus Cafe Bavaria. It was so quiet. We loved the balcony and that we could open the door to let in fresh air. The decor really made it feel like old Bavaria and we were smitten with its charm. I would stay here again. The proprietors were so friendly. I wish I spoke German!

Prisvärt och bra.

En spontan bokning, då vi inte ville tälta i regnet. Ett Gasthaus av enklare karaktär, men ack så bra. Trevlig personal som gjorde allt för enkel incheckning. Mysigt rum med sköna sängar, balkong med möbler som gjorde det möjligt att sitta och titta på när solen gick ner. En riktigt bra frukost med gott kaffe. Sett till priset var det ett riktigt bra boende.

Goed hotel, maar prijs is aan de hoge kant

Oud hotel in stijl. Vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Badkamer behoeft enig onderhoud, de afvoer van de W.C lekte. Wat ik verder mistte was een prullemand in de kamer. Onze kamer was aan de kant van een drukke straat, en dat gaf wel enig geluidsoverlast. Het ontbijt is prima, evenals de warme keuken.

Fortunately, there was an English-speaking staff member, so there were no communication issues during check-in. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the free breakfast because we were in a hurry. The power outlets can easily cause power outages, so be careful.

An expensive disappointment

We booked a double room with a balcony. The room cost 112 euro so we were expecting a reasonable level of quality and comfort. The accommodation was quite basic, with the bed lacking support and quite uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the room and its balcony faced a very busy road so it was not possible to enjoy the mountain air by either sitting on the balcony or leaving the window or balcony doors open. The double-glazed windows blocked out most of the traffic noise so noise was not a particular problem as long as the doors to the balcony were firmly closed. The wifi was a problem to start with. When approached, the staff member in charge of welcoming new guests was inclined to argue that there was no wifi problem. When asked to investigate further, she discovered that, indeed, there was a problem. The router was re-booted and the wifi connection improved. A reviewer in 2022 commented that “The lady at front desk had a terrible attitude.” We expected that this person would no longer have the role of welcoming guests. Wrong. It seems that she is still there. There is no longer a restaurant at the guest house. Only breakfast is provided. The breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary, but acceptable. On the plus side, Inzell is a nice little town. We had a nice meal at Glusthaferl Restaurant & Röstihaus, 7 minutes walk from the guest house. Potential guests were being turned away around 20:30 so suggest you book and/or arrive early. The rosti are cooked freshly so there is

Reasonably priced hotel in the pleasant town of Inzell. Super friendly staff, designated motorcycle parking, reasonably good breakfast. Room had a balcony with decent views. Doesn't seem to have a restaurant anymore, but there are plenty of options nearby. Wifi a little slow (possibly due to distance from the access point). Next to a main road, so traffic a little noisy during the day and evening (but ok for sleeping).

Zimmer OK. Personal sehr freundlich. ABER die Kochkunst in der Küche ist unterstes Niveau, Haxn innen kalt, selbst die " Knödel" sind aus gekauftem Kloßteig und innen noch roh - von der fertig Sauce ganz zu schweigen. Nicht mal das Salat Dressing ist selbst gemacht.

The lady at front desk had a terrible attitude. She was mad at us during the check in (no idea what for) and then kept rushing us at breakfast to check out so they can clean the room (that was well before the checkout time)
