This propety is in need of major updating and cleaning. When I went to my room, a busted water pipe was leaking onto the carpet close to my room. It was still leaking at time of check out. I understand it takes time to repair, but the carpet was soaked, ceiling tiles falling in and no bucket to catch the water. Also, heat was substandard, HVAC system was loud and bathroom was not clean. The room was cheap and I needed a place to sleep for a onsite job in Thurmont, so you get what you pay for.

This was not the hotel I thought it was was booking. Needless to say, I was somewhat disappointed. However, it’s quiet with no road noise or neighbors. The lady at the front desk was lovely. I upgrade to a suite with a couch and dining table, making the room quite spacious. The motel is quite dated but clean and not in disrepair. It’s a great location but no pool and no breakfast. Also, no elevator which is getting to be a problem for me, even with their lower tread height. Would I stay again? Most likely.

Considering this is a Super 8, it’s a nice hotel. The front desk, Nicole, is the best!!! I would be happier if the breakfast had warm options, mainly eggs. The other suggestion is offering coffee all day long. Pet friendly!!!!

I was given 1 key for 4 people. The room was covered in dust. We found dried food on our sheets as well as some kind of bug under the blanket. It states that breakfast and all they had was coffee with limited cream and sugar and 1 kind of breakfast bar and only 3 bars each day. Their list of restraints etc. was so outdated. I was raised in this area and I knew shamrock and cozy restaurants no longer exist. I will never return to this motel and it sure gives windham motels look bad

Great staff. But, updates are definitely needed. No USB ports. Short staffed when it comes to housekeeping personnel. They need help. What I do like, is this Super 8’s location. Centrally located.

I was told specifically that the room was non-smoking but had a very strong smoke odor and I had to leave a window open with the fan on for a couple hours to make it bearable. Breakfast was also advertised, but none was provided; not even coffee. The front desk staff was courteous and tried to help, but I was told management decides each morning whether to serve breakfast or not based on the number of occupied rooms. I guess we did not occupy enough rooms that night to justify coffee.
