For a 340nzd/night hotel, totally unacceptable. While the reception staff was friendly and helpful, the condition of the room preparation and facility was shockingly bad. * No Shampoo in the room * The casing of the air conditioner is open, exposing internal compartments and components. It appears someone might be fixing or cleaning it, but the job is unfinished and it was left open. * The room's air conditioner was incredibly loud and made a constant, rapid ticking noise while running. When I reported it, the staff on the phone insisted it was 'normal.' As a frequent traveler, hearing such nonsense was insulting and felt like being treated like a fool. I ultimately had to turn the AC off completely just to get some sleep.

Rooms are spacious and private. The rainforest on your doorstep is incredible. Town is only a short walk. Most people stay only a night so high level of turn over but great food (dinner and breakfast included), friendly staff.
