This hotel is the best in La Junta. The free breakfast was very good and the best of any hotel we stayed at. The staff is very nice and helpful. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever had in a hotel. It was quiet and very nice.

I stayed in the red cabin and loved it. The people are very nice. The grounds are cute and well kept. Cabin super clean. The pool was great and even has a nice slide. I chose Midway because I remember staying there as a child. It was clean, the beds were really comfortable. If you wanna stay in a place with history...this is it!! Charlton Heston stayed there during filming one of his movies....

When I said something about him still being there he said "i'm here 24 hrs a day". I encountered what seemed to be...

Staff was excellent. Big rooms with plenty of amenities for a one-night stay.
