「Everything about the red room was classic. A bio of the person whom the room was named after, "The Hamilton Room." Picture a perfect view out of the window and access to a cozy courtyard on the "o" floor. Lots of reading material that invites you to chill and read in comfortable chairs. The main bus stop for Calais is within view of the front door and the classic theatre building with three venues inside is literally across the street.」

「We were very happy with the stay, the location is convenient, a lot of restaurants nearby and few minutes walk to a shopping centre. The room is spacious, clean and the staff are nice and friendly. A lot of polices around the hotel makes it very safe and confident to park our car in the car park.」

「This is good value for money, but it’s showing its age, so it’s a good compromise, the staff are friendly and helpful, the place is clean and I would be happy to stay here again. The real down side is the lack of air conditioning and no lift for the upper floors. Good local breakfast, set me up for the day and a long drive. 」

「Keep your curtain close or otherwise there will be tonnes of flies. The environment was neat and tidy and it was very near to a supermarket. However, the television indication light was EXTREMELY disturbing. It was bright and blue and shined through the night when all light was off. Have to cover it with a towel.」
