Staff were helpful. The small breakfast buffet was nice. Parking was easy. Bedding was clean but the room itself was very knocked about with chunks out of door frames and walls covered in marks . At least it was cheap but I think I’ll pay a bit extra next time so I won’t be back.

This was our 3rd stay over the last 4 years. It feels like the hotel is gradually wearing out, and although it still represents an overnight stay and a good breakfast at an extremely competitive price, it feels like cost is being shaved as hard as possible. We were also charged 5 euros for parking overnight, when the sign in the carpark stated 3 euros - we realised too late to do anything about it.

The only advantage is the secure gated parking, which I like and just 10 minutes to the car ferry terminal. The staff on night duty is helpful. I did not like the bathroom wall because it is dirty. The surroundings of the hotel are just appalling. Breakfast is a waste of money as there are not many options to choose from.

I think this is the 4th time we've stayed here and it does need refurbishment as soon as possible but it was very clean and smelled clean too. We have a little dog and there is a nice area of grass at the back and a nice walk across the road. It's quiet and there's a gate at night and it's certainly not lovely by any stretch but it's useful for our needs.
