The customer service was excellent and the property had great amenities such as bikes, kayaks, paddle boards and a Tiki Bar with great food. The rooms were very simple (could use some more decor)but very clean and comfortable.

I liked the proximity to the beach. I would have liked more restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were decent and clean, but the beds were a bit uncomfortable.

Decent place for the price

Great experience overall, good amenities but most were with the sister property located next store, not a big deal to walk over and check out a bike or kayak. Being next to the pool was a little loud at night, well some nights but most guests were respectful.

The property is beautiful and the staff friendly and helpful. My ONE BIG SUGGESTION is that you guys better get some anti-slip mats in the showers. They're VERY slick when wet and someone's gonna slip and sue the daylights out of you.

This property was perfect for a family vacation and had all of the extras we wanted (free breakfast, a kitchenette, free water sports, free bikes, 2 very nice pools and more). There were a few small things that we would have appreciated - a deadbolt or chain on the door (my 2 year old was able to walk out if we weren’t paying attention 24/7), a line to hang wet clothes in the bathroom or balcony, and wish the property sprayed for bugs better because the noseeums were vicious and we were completely bit up by the end of the trip.

We loved our stay at the Song of the Sea. Going to the beach was so easy and there were plenty of chairs and umbrellas for us. Also the beaches were not super crowded, it felt very peaceful. All the amenities ensured that we had something to do during our stay.

Relatively small property, more like a glorified motel than a true resort. Room was clean, bed comfortable, but furniture/facilities a little worn. Kind of expected more for the cost. Staff was very friendly and professional, and having a light breakfast (cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, waffle maker) was nice as we only needed to go out for dinners.

This property is ok. The internet was down for a couple of days. The stove in the room didn't work. The furniture on the patio is very outdated. There was not enough umbrellas on beach to sit under. People were allowed to put their towels on the beach chairs and leave them for hours.

Overall a relaxing place to stay. Continental breakfast was offered a good variety of choices and they never ran out of anything. On the minus side, there seemed to be too few beach chairs and umbrellas for the resort. We had to go to the resort next door for umbrellas. Also, the hotel's policy of collecting all of the chairs and umbrellas at 6:00pm was disappointing as there was at least another good hour of beach time available.

We loved the resort. Great pool, incredible beachfront. Very quiet with sort of old world Florida rooms, which we prefer to modern and busy. Beach cruiser bikes were always available and the breakfasts were lovely. Bonus: REALLY good coffee. Seriously. Our only complaint was housekeeping only happens every third day. We could have better handled every other day. (Housekeeping staff was lovely, it's just a resort mandate.) Overall, we loved it. It was a perfect laid-back couple's retreat and we wished we'd booked a longer stay.

Loved everything about Song of the Sea and its sister property, Sanibel Inn. Beautiful beach, pool and garden areas, great continental breakfast and super friendly staff. Dante's next door had delicious pizza and the tiki bar was a great place for a quick bite and drink. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and get away from at all, Song of the Sea is the best!

Heated pool and beach access made relaxing easy here. Free bikes were a fabulous bonus on a cooler morning, bike paths are wide and safe and can take you everywhere.
