Bathroom had a sewage smell. Sink did not drain well, room was freezing even though ac was off. Couldn’t put heat on. Don’t like the fact that cash is not accepted. Won’t stay here again. Was much better when it was The Yankee Clipper!!!

Red Carpet Inn Airport and Cruise Port Hotel Fort Lauderdale
Was told there would be shuttle service to the cruise port. They did not let us set it up early. When I got to the hotel they said the shuttles were full, ended up paying for a Lyft instead.

Staff excellent. Room clean. The rooms are smallish, and the hotel desperately needs a real restaurant. Besides that, Pool and beach are great, location is good.

The place is run down and in disrepair. For example the only electric outlet in the bathroom did not work. The bed and chairs were old and uncomfortable. It was very noisy even past 10:00 pm. I brought it up to the front desk but they did not do anything about it. Overall, the place was not as ...
