Rain Forest Resort Village

Rain Forest Resort Village

10/10 Excellent
"A great place to stay. Quiet and beautiful. Room was dated but very cozy and matched the feeling of the location. Our only concern, and a minor one, was no bath mat in the tub for showering. The bottom as quite slippery and we both had to work to stay up!"

"I wish the parking light wasn’t so bright so i could see the stars. But i reckon it’s good for security purposes, so no complaints. The room, amenities, and people were all lovely. Great place to stay if you’re visiting local parks."

Lake Quinault Lodge

Lake Quinault Lodge

8/10 Good
"Such a beautiful property with trails, the lake and luscious green lawn right outside. Great food at the restaurant, though a little pricey, love the order your own pizza option. the common area / great room is a great place to hang out especially when you get free musical guests! The duo that came and played their guitars and sang were wonderful. I had great customer service in the restaurant and bar area, but the check-in desk left a little to be desired. Early career employees at reception need customer service and communication skills training. Was contacted while on a hike that a paper envelope with my room number was found, and they made a weird assumption that I was checking out a day early! It was clearly from a previous guest as my paper key card envelope was still safely in my room. Was a little annoyed that they couldn’t have figured that out. For 100 year-old lodge the room was as expected. Definitely a bit rundown, but the beds were comfy. I would say if you can spend the extra money get a room on the lakeside. I was right over the front door and had the noise from parking and street traffic as well as entry doors opening and closing repeatedly. Also had the room right above the piano, which was a joy when a talented person was playing, but not so much when the kids would plunk on it! Lastly a recommendation for better blinds on the bathroom window. There was only a sheer, and when I was in the shower I think people outside could see me."
