The hotel is off the island, which at first was a disappointment, however the walk is only ten minutes and the area is much quieter than the island

Hotel and staff were very nice and helpful. Location of property is convinced because it’s around the mall, restaurants and walking distance from the island. The only issue was the wifi not working properly. But I Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for one night. Pros: - convenient location, beautiful view on the lake, very close to Isla de Flores - complementary parking very close to the hotel - friendly courteous staff Cons: -building outdated, needs a renovation. In my room the window wouldn’t close and all noises from the lake were in my room -room was very small, (though quite convenient with a TV and a minifridge) - warm water in the shower was inconsistent -wifi signal very weak - no elevator (which was not a problem for us)

Beautiful site at edge of lake, great view. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked well- a real comfort on the 100 degree days we were there. Pleasant pool. Staff were pleasant, especially the dining room staff, who worked overtime for our large group with early breakfasts and late dinners. Some of our group had rooms that needed some maintenance, especially with water pressure issue, but water was fine in mine. Anyone with mobility issues should know there is no elevator to the 2nd and 3rd floors. The area directly around the property doesn’t have much of interest, but it’s a short walk across the bridge to the main part of town with lots of restaurants, shops, views, activities.

The hotel is in desperate need of an update. Check in was good, the rooms were on second floor and he reserved two double beds. Extremely tight quarters. Beds were comfortable but having two adults and two kids in the room was suffocating. Bathroom needs a thorough cleaning and towels were sketchy. Our TV and the majority of the outlets did not work and we did have a couple of power outrages but it came back after approximately 6-10 minutes. Shower pressure was also an issue. There is a on-site restaurant that was pleasant food and portions were great. There is parking but you have to ask reception to unlock chain since parking is not next to hotel. Hotel location is across from the island.

The hotel was great! The only negative thing I have to say is there's not much water pressure in the shower, but that's pretty common anywhere you stay in Guatemala.
