"Great stay. I booked a room with open air bath and it came with the access to the executive lounge for afternoon snacks and drinks. Snacks, beers and wine. The snacks there was amazing. Coz I booked two consecutive nites, they gave us access to the exclusive public bath, less ppl and with more privacy.
The room was so clean and the staff were excellent. I was impressed by a staff Jaing, she was so helpful and always so enthusiastic and ready to help all the time when I saw her at the reception - check in and check out and when she was working at the executive lounge. The cleaning team was doing an excellent job.
All of these made my stay so wonderful. "

"Great stay. Check-in was simple and efficient. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Made it easy with English speaking staff. Enjoyed the public bath. Room was comfortable and well kept. Overall I had a great stay. "

"This was by far my greatest stay so far in japan. Amazing food, amazing building, amazing onsen!
But westerners be wary, you will need to sacrifice some of your typical understanding of amenitys, theres no showers in the rooms, and very little english is spoken in this whole town.
That being said i cant rate it less than 5 stars! If you come to this hotel, be prepared to eat (amazing) foods you never thought youd try, and immerse youself in the japanese culture. If you do not want to immerse yourself, this may not be the place for you."

"Clean rooms and great service. Some staff know some English and if they dont they will try their best to help you.
Food was excellent! Be sure to get their breakfast and dinner! The onsen was relaxing. "

"The room was really spacious with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was included but dinner we ate out as the hotel is large and they can't accommodate everybody. This was not a problem as there were so many restaurants in town. You do need to time the shuttle bus well though. Overall, a brilliant place to visit and really worth the money."
