"Rooms were modern and clean. The hotel is very convenient and in a pretty secure location (lots of security in the neighborhood). Street can be a bit noisy as it's right in a busy part of town. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. We booked two rooms during our stay and had booked an extra night for one of the rooms at the start of our stay because our flight arrived at 7am. The staff was kind enough to allow us to check into both rooms when we arrived. Throughout our stay they were very helpful and friendly, which were a big plus."

"A beautiful hotel with amazing history- built for the opening of the Suez canal, still with the stunning marble stairs and statues etc. Wonderful service, reasonably priced food, all beautifully cooked and served. Very secure. All staff very helpful. Great location. "

"The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was clean and newly renovated, housekeeping cleaned promptly when requested and they were more than happy to provide extra towels upon request. The breakfast was always yummy and freshly prepared. Given the location of the hotel, the sound wasn’t too bad. Cairo is a loud city so if you need silence to sleep, being ear plugs. Or maybe Cairo isn’t the city for you. I’m glad we stayed downtown as we really got to experience Cairo and not just the tourist curated sections like the Mena house, pyramids, or GEM (although those places are still worth the visit). If I have the opportunity to come back to Egypt I would definitely stay again. "
