「Lovely property and lovely hosts - had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it」

「The hotel was marvellous. We were there for a wedding and everything was fantastic including the breakfast next morning. I'll never use Expedia again as I thought I had booked a suite but they actually booked us into the lodge, which is very nice but my wife has difficulty walking and the lodge was well away from the main hotel. Also. It separated us from the rest of the party.」

「The property was clean,, quaint, and charming. The restaurant was delicious! I had dinner and breakfast the next morning. It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had or should I say that I’ve had in Scotland so far. The staff was amazing! Carolyn went above, beyond and out of her way to make sure I was well taken care of, and I greatly appreciate it. The Royal Hotel is lucky to have her.」

「The hotel is ok for 1/2 nights we stayed for 7, room only serviced every 3 days but could ask the staff for fresh towels, tea/coffee etc. Would have liked a comfy chair in the bedroom. The bathroom needs sorting the sink is too small, no toilet roll holder and very little space to place things on. Shower was good once we worked out how to work it, needs a grab bar or two as quite a step into and out of the shower unit. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok cereals and freshly...
