「We had an absolutely fantastic time at Villas Pina! Stayed 4 nights here in April. The 6 rooms all have the same layout and are very practical and spacious. There is a small kitchen with a large fridge, safety box and 2 queen beds! 「We were looking for a relaxing end to our three weeks of very active vacationing, and La Tica y La Gata provided just that. While we were only able to book the shared bathroom rooms on hotels.com, the staff were able to upgrade us to a private room for a very small additional charge. This is a beautiful oasis right off the beaten path from busy downtown Puerto Viejo, but although it’s only a 6 minute drive from the town proper, you feel like you’re nestled in the jungle.」

「The breakfast is so good, take advantage of it. Bottle Water is expensive all over the area so I understand not getting constant free water. Take the water pitcher from your room down to the restaurant or bar and they will fill it for you with filtered water.」
