「I loved how peaceful my stay was. The staff was friendly and always available. The only downside was the hot water not working day of check out」

「What an amazing stay from start to finish. The owners, Eric & Sharon were very hospitable and welcoming. Sharon suggested a few places for us to visit and they all ended up being highlights of our trip. The property is gorgeous, secure, very clean, and very comfortable. Every day started with coffee delivered to your room, and the staff prepares an AMAZING vegetarian breakfast from scratch. I am very particular about my food and I rarely eat the breakfast that is included with hotel stays, but...

「Nos encantó el lugar, ideal para familias grandes, cerca de Puerto Viejo. Cuenta con piscina y parrilla y aire acondicionado, la cocina bien equipada, es seguro.」

「Angelo was so helpful with after hours check in. This place is adorable. The room had a kitchen and that is a great addition if you are staying longer than a night. The pool was nice and refreshing. There is an outdoor sitting space outside your room that is nice as well.」

「Beautiful cozy place , great staff I will back very soon」

「Decent stay.」

「Excelente servicio Todo el Staff excelente Barny excelente anfitrión」

「Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, zeer ruime kamer. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het zwembad is niet heel groot en er zijn niet veel ligbedden. De ligging is aan de rand van Puerto Viejo maar fietsverhuur en restaurants nog steeds op loopafstand.」

「The property was beautiful and clean, the staff was lovely and incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Having only one coffee in the room for the 4 mornings (i.e. not replaced each day) was disappointing, but forced us to go out for a local coffee instead. Having small/snack items for late arrivals and/or while the bar is open would be a great idea.」

「I can’t say enough about the property and the staff. We stayed in the Caribbean breeze cabin for 6 nights and it was an amazing experience. You are about 7 minutes from town in a beautifully manicured area which the staff takes care of all day long. The property is tucked just into the jungle off the beach so you get the best of both worlds. This is a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience.」

「Increíble lugar para pasar en Playa negra se ven los mejores amaneceres en Costa Rica a 10 min del La bonita caminando ,hay café y todo es muy verde」

「Overall it was a fine stay, but I believe it’s not worth the price paid. On one side it has hot shower, aircon, big smart TV, shared kitchen, great location and a comfortable bed; however on the other side it’s a bit run down inside the room, not properly finished & needs a deep clean on the shower. Our cabin was noisy from the unit upstairs and woke us up at 7am due to the noise, and there was also a water pump outside making noise every few seconds. The communication was also a bit poor when...

「⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Wonderful Experience at Agapi! 🌴❤️ What an incredible experience staying at Agapi in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica! I absolutely loved every moment of my stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean coast. Agapi has such a lovely, peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax, explore the surrounding nature, enjoy the stunning beaches and experience the magical Caribbean lifestyle. As a solo female traveller who has...

「Staff was great, casitas were cute, pool was nice. The rooms however are not very sound proof. Other noisy guests there in the pool or nearby rooms can be heard very well. You can hear TV and other noises in the next casita. 」

「Buena ubicación」

「I put this off but it needs to be done. I booked this home because it was the nicest/cleanest in the area. It is a beautiful home, clean, spacious, a private pool and very comfortable accommodations. On the down side, unfortunately, there is a lot. 1st location, it is secluded not in a good way. I traveled for 3 weeks all over CR and this is the only place I felt uncomfortable and borderline unsafe. Clearly the Caribbean side is not for me. I found the surrounding areas to be much dirtier than...

「Lovely, family owned property. The only thing that would have been helpful would be to have more room amenities such as mini fridge, microwave, hangers, more towels… etc. Property is clean, close to everything in Puerto Viejo, within walking distance to the beach, has a good breakfast, and staff is very friendly.」
