"The absolute best part of this hotel is the location. It’s perfectly situated for exploring, and you’ll have no trouble getting around the city from here. Rooftop was an especially nice feature (although would have been better with clean windows). Room/Policy Unfortunately, the stay itself was quite uncomfortable. The biggest issue was the temperature control—or lack thereof. We were unable to adjust the heat/AC, which resulted in the air feeling stifling and heavy. It made getting a restful night's sleep very challenging. Our individual room temperature could only be adjusted by sending a text message request via Whatsapp to the front desk. At one point I was told that I could not have AC as other guests in the hotel wanted the heat. We just needef the air to circulate. Additionally, the room is lacking basic functionality; there weren't enough hooks to accommodate wet clothes after the torrential downpour, which became a major issue during our stay. While I understand the hotel has a "pay for room cleaning" policy, the lack of flexibility was disappointing during extreme circumstances. During our visit, Athens experienced torrential rain—severe enough that major monuments were closed for safety. We returned to the hotel completely soaked, but staff refused to provide towels without the extra fee. In an emergency weather situation, a little hospitality would have gone a long way. If you only care about the location PERFECT PICK!"

"Only the rooftop pool looks nice. The room is old. The mattress is very worn down, broken tiles, tiny shower with loose cover. The surrounding area is old, with broken buildings, unsafe to walk at night."
