「We enjoyed our stay at The Crossing. The breakfast was very good. The one thing I was surprised about was that our breakfast was not included with our room fee. We stayed at so many different places that I guess I just didn't check to see. But, we were a bit taken aback when after eating breakfast we were asked to settle the bill for it.」

Introduced us to their friendly dog and they were able to offer advice on where to eat dinner. Plenty information in the folder in the room of local attractions if anyone wanted. 「A delightful stay at the Star Hotel. The rooms are well-sized, clean and modern. Front-door staff were very welcoming. I highly recommend. 」

「No frills lodging. It's an older building, and it is showing it's age, but it's sufficient for a night or two. Big tub in the bathroom. Rooms are warm (It's Oct and cold!). Good accommodations for the price. Make sure you check your email ahead of time for the key box code, or you will have to call from the unstaffed reception. Free coffee and snacks at breakfast. 」

「Staff were friendly and helpful, location handy and beautiful, with red squirrels nearby and nesting house martins. My only suggestion would be that - as we should be reducing meat and dairy consumption for environmental reasons - vegetarian breakfast should be the norm.」

「The hotel is located within some outstanding scenery with Loch Alvie literally on your doorstep. We were all made to feel welcome, including Dizzy the dog , and the chefs produced some delicious food as we sat near a blazing log fire. Room and bathroom were very clean and well appointed. The only grumble we would have is that we were charged for our dog's stay on a nightly basis, to cover additional cleaning, as opposed to per visit, you would only clean the room once even after 2 nights stay.」

「It was really good but check in is terrible they dont check in till dead on 3 which means big ques so the guest miss half their nite they need 2 address that if they staggered as they came in booked them in put the keys aside ready then hand them out 」

「We only had an overnight stay, but this was long enough to enjoy our accommodation. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The holiday village was well maintained, quiet and peaceful. All staff that we interacted with were polite, friendly and very helpful. We would not hesitate to stay again.」
