「A very spacious apartment built in to the hillside with nice grounds and views over the Sierra Nevada. Our host, Manuel was very helpful and passionate about the local area and treated us to a guided tour,as well as bringing us fresh churros for breakfast. Our overall experience was superb. 」

「Un lugar estupendo a 10 minutos de Guadix, donde desconectar y descansar en plena naturaleza. La comida del restaurante es simplemente espectacular (no puedes irte sin probar las gachas) y el desayuno también es de 10. El personal es tremendamente amable y el poder acudir con nuestras mascotas y disfrutar de estar con ellos en todas las estancias del alojamiento, sin duda es lo mejor de lo mejor. Seguro que volveremos. Muchas gracias por todo.」

「Great experience staying in a ‘cave’ house. Very clean and cosy. Beautiful setting. The owners weren’t on site much (but can be phoned and respond quickly) so as long as you’re fairly self sufficient its not a problem. Best to bring your own food. Really looking forward to our arab bath booking but the hotel cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, which was a shame. Definitely need own transport. Overall a great experience. 」

「Our room at the Hostal Rural Gloria was clean and comfortable, and a bargain for the price. Our host was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the room was located just above the main street in town so when a large truck or bus went by, you couldn’t ignore it. Luckily, Los Baños is a rather sleepy place and there was very little traffic. Getting something to eat was a bit of a challenge because we were there on a Monday and the restaurants were closed (we did not have a car). We...

「We used this hotel for an overnight stop on our way from Zaragoza to Almeria airport (picking someone up). Did not arrive till gone 9pm, but restaurant still open, had a great meal and some well deserved beers. Great find, very welcoming staff, everything in the room you would need and a great shower. Excellent value for money. Would use again if passing this way.」
