"The hotel was the perfect stay for us during our trip along the Ring Road. Accommodations were super clean, the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was superb, and the staff were excellent. Would definitely stay here again if we ventured to the area on a future vacation!"

"The family cottage we stayed in was nice; it was clean and had a nice couch and sitting area. The small kitchen was also very useful for making an early breakfast, since we left before the complimentary breakfast was served. The only detractor is that this place is very far from Egilstadir. The drive is on miles and miles of bumpy gravel roads to get there - at least a half an hour from Egilstaddir. I recommend any traveler ensure that they know this. On the other hand, it is a good place from which to venture out to Hafnarholmi in Bogarfjurdor Eystri to see the puffins at night, and a great place to launch out from to go to Studagil Canyon."

"Very clean room, very comfortable stay. Good night sleep. Excellent location, Good bteakfast. Planty of free parking. Restaurant and bar super. Restaurant Service and reception desk very nice and professional, friendly and knowledgeable about site seeing in the area. Highly recommend."

"Convenient location to gas station and grocery store. Onsite cafe and bar, big free parking lot. The hotel is a bit outdated, I had A five bunk beds private room for 4 people, no desk or shelf, but I used one bed to put stuff, works fine. Bathroom setup more like campground, individual room has door and curtain. Press button once hot water comes down, but only last 5-10 seconds. I have to repeatly press button. Kitchen has cookwares, utensil and plates. Range stove only has one out of 4 stove top works, dishwasher works great. Microwave, fridge also available. Room is clean. Staff is helpful. Given the affordable price, quick 1-2 night stay still worth."
