"Stayed for a few nights before a cruise. Fantastic location for downtown Seattle, everything within walking distance. Really lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Room was huge and beds comfortable."
"Where do I even start? What a wonderful hotel! We arrived late at night and were greeted by a night porter who was fantastic. The hotel is brand new—it feels like a beautiful old mansion that has been tastefully renovated. It’s so fresh that you can still smell the paint in some areas!
Being an older building, the floors creak a bit, and we did hear a loud mechanical noise at night (possibly the AC system), but it didn’t ruin the experience at all. The room was spotless, the towels were high quality, and they provided plenty of toiletries. The bed was incredibly comfortable.
The highlight, however, was the location! We didn't know Seattle well and got so lucky staying in this neighborhood. It’s mostly residential, so street parking was easy—saving us $50 a night in parking fees! There’s a CVS and a grocery store nearby, and Mecca Cafe (just 50m away) is a must for breakfast; we went three days in a row! Plus, the most iconic view of the Seattle skyline and Mt. Rainier is just a 5-minute drive uphill. We absolutely fell in love with this place!"
"Overall, it’s a decent choice if you’re looking to save money, though Saturday rates felt a bit high for the lack of amenities. On the plus side, the place is very clean, smells fresh, and provides fresh towels. However, they are quite stingy with toiletries—only one sachet of shampoo and conditioner, and the soap was poor quality.
A bit of a red flag: the receptionist mentioned several times that drugs (specifically opioids) were prohibited, which made me feel like this might be a common issue there—not exactly the most 'relaxing' vibe. The room was also quite chilly with cold floors. It’s a fine 'crash pad' for one night after a long day of sightseeing, but keep your expectations in check if you’re used to higher-end hotels."
"The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quite clean. I prefer staying in the rooms with a view overlooking the city or the bay but even the rooms looking over the inner courtyard are comfortable. I always look forward to dropping my baggage when I arrive and heading up to the rooftop to enjoy the view."
