You get a great breakfast, it's clean, there's a pool, rooms are large! For a family of five we always struggle with hotels having only two beds or a 4 person limit and this room offered two queens, and a pull out bed! 10/10 will stay here again. "

"The Lightwell is a wonderful little hotel in a great location. Easy walk to all of downtown Hood River. Everything was clean, well taken care of with friendly staff. Rooms are small with no onsite parking, however parking was close."

"CLOSED for the season. They did not charge off season rates. The resort was completely empty. We were the only ones there. The restaurant was closed also. We are new to the area and were not informed the resort was closed. Also, there was a large, dead bug hanging from the corner on a cobweb. When we used the shower, a large red glob of something nasty came out of the soap dispenser. Soapless showers not fun. I contacted property to address my concerns privately, but did not receive a response, so, clearly they are not interested in fixing things."
