"It appears at this writing that the property is in transition between ownership or management. They are advertising help wanted. Room was clean but a number of the lamps in the room were not operating. Nice TV but it wasn't programmed which was annoying. Staff i encountered were nice and helpful."

"My third time staying Escamilla Lodge. Can’t say enough. This place is wonderful for everything you want, activities, water, sightseeing, wildlife, etc. Had the opportunity to go with my grandkids and they absolutely loved it. The marked hiking trails are an added bonus where my five-year-old and three year-old grandchildren were able to easily maneuver the trails and got to see wildlife. What a wonderful experience. We will make it our fourth next year!"

"Beautiful tent, super friendly staff, beautiful view, great activities. Only issue was one I am sure the location cannot control - a barking dog off property that kept us up at night. We will definitely try other Under Canvas locations!"

"The parking arrangement was excellent since you can get your car close to the room that you will be occupied. The receptionist for check-in was very helpful and well informed. They walked with you to your room to show you where you would be staying. The room furnishings were beautiful, new, and very utilitarian. The kitchenette was well stocked. The grounds were impeccable."
