「I had a wonderful stay at the Little House, would definitely stay again! The place was so cosy and warm when I arrived, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. For me, the only downside was the size of the bathroom (not ideal for a tall person!) and a couple of stray hairs in the bed and makeup stain on one of the towels.」

Book a cab in advance, as many cab “companies” are just a single driver and waits can be long when it’s busy. Host offers a variety of cereal in the morning. Some rooms are up a steep flight of stakes, and host offered help carrying suitcases upstairs. Mattress was on the bouncier side which you may find uncomfortable if sharing the bed. 「Room was small and a bit dated but a large balcony and we were lucky with the sunshine so we did sit out for a while each day. It would be beautiful in the summer ! That said the hotel is lovely, comfortable with lots of lively places to sit and read. The food is excellent - fantastic meal three courses for 33 pounds and well worth it. We would stay again and Aldeburgh is just lovely !!」
