"The place is well kept and the staff was really friendly. The price compared to other hotels you could not beat it. They have a great place but need to update things like tv bathroom and doors. It like visiting you grandparents the place is well kept but it’s like traveling back in time. If I need to stay again in Lancaster again I would stay at Bird in hand"

"We are on a 2500 mile road trip so this is my fourth room this week. When it comes to a room near Lancaster PA stay somewhere else. This property is not being maintained, at least not by anyone who is skilled in building maintenance. We had tape holding the seam of floor planks together. The security lock between us and the connected room was not in the door but laying on the table. The handrail to the back entrance where our room was located was made from lumber and was rotten and loose and the paint was gone, we were afraid to use for either it falling apart or getting splinters. For $95 a night stay anywhere else"

"First of all, the value of what the accommodations provided was not worth what the cost of what we paid for the stay. It was okay. Clean. Staff was great. Breakfast good. Shower awkward to access, and bathroom not large enough or bright enough. Mattress and pillows not supportive. HVAC window unit very very noisy. Noise from other rooms was felt and heard. Just not worth +$300/night. Room seating was inadequate and uncomfortable."

"Cute little place. Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water for shower and good water pressure. Only issue we had was not being told there is an “after hours” number to get room details. Once we got connected, all went well. "
