「The folks are in the process of doing some upgrading. All rooms got new mattresses while we were there. The staff just could not be any nicer. Breakfast was good for us. It was quiet and served us well for the 3 nights we were there」

「We like older hotels with eccentric nostalgia . The bed was comfortable, we liked no TV, the old pictures, the stairs and creaking hall way. The view from the restaurant was outstanding as the breakfast sandwich. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again. If you want a pool and weight room etc go to Denver.」

「It has nice view to the forest and you would be able to see the sunrise in the morning which is beautiful. The outdoor hot tub is supposed to be closed at 10pm, but people are still using it and making noises at night. We told the front desk about it, but they said the whole deck area is a common area, they couldn't do anything about it. This's weird that they have a rule to close the pool at 10pm but no one is forcing it.」

「I was going to go in the hot tub for the one night it was going to be open but the pool was so dirty I didn’t trust the hot tub. Room was clean and the guys at front desk were nice.」

「In the first room the heat was on, temperature was 88⁰ and the AC was not turning on after attempting, we walked straight back to the front desk and explained that would not be okay for us and our dog. The front desk said she could send maintenance.. she then said she could make an exception, but that they normally would not offer a different room. The only other room had construction going on above, there was hammering / pounding heard from the ceiling for the first 30 minutes. I undertand that...
