「A good, clean, well-maintained hotel. Kind and helpful staff who were professional. Room was clean and well maintained. Free car parking on-site. Good food and very substantial breakfast.」

「Rooms where clean and well maintained. Sadly food was poor, we ate in the restaurant on the first evening, one meal was over cooked while my lamb was very chewey. Breakfast on day 2 was poor, they said it would be cooked to order but it looked and tasted like it had come from the buffet they had just cleared from a coach party. The staff were variable some abrupt and others went through the motions but werent enjoying their jobs??!」

「good stay」

「The staff are most welcoming and helpful. They make you feel that they really care about your experience at the hotel. If I owned an hotel I would be trying to poach them.」

「couldn’t fault it. lovely clean room, good food , outside area very well maintained and plenty of parking. would stay again.」

「Excellent stay 👍👍🎉」

「被編排房間好像員工房一樣，雖則房間內部也可接受。」

「Really nice room. Bathroom was lovely (some hairs in sink when we arrived, but not that a big deal). There was a wedding on in the hotel, with music heard thumping in our room until quite late (we’re not killjoys, but it was impossible to sleep and very loud). It would have been good to know this when booking, as we would have looked elsewhere. Called down to ask reception and they were dismissive and a bit rude. Also loud music heard in room in the morning as well.」

「The room was very clean with modern amenities. The shower was easy for accessiblity purposes.」

「We had a lovely stay. It was very comfortable and clean. We did not have a car so it was a little out of the way however the taxi service is very fast and dependable. Beautiful setting.」

「Lovely stay at Ardwell Bed and Breakfast. Una and Morton made us feel very welcome. Facilities in room were good and breakfast freshly made. Morton even gave us a lift along to the village in the stormy weather which we are so grateful for. Would definitely recommend staying here」

「Front Desk and Wait Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and there was a wonderful dinner menu. We ordered starters and mains and all were exceptionally delicious!」

「Lovely clean room , dinner and breakfast was wonderful.」

「room was spotless ,hotel gardens where beautiful, dinner and breakfast was amazing.reason for 3 star rating was given due to reception staff not dealing with our complaint of having no hot water when showering before dinner and was not much better the following morning.」

「I had the best stay here! Sinclair was an amazing host, as well as the rest of the staff st the guesthouse too. I loved the little touch of the cookies and the bottles of water in the room too. Breakfast was tasty too. I would recommend anyone to stay here, I know I’ll be coming back here when I’m next in Ayr. Thank you all at the Lochinver Guesthouse!」
