The staff are amazing, they always greet you with a smile and are very accommodating. The food is very good and are to me no difference in price compared to Australia. I love how the beach is just outside your door and how safe it is for those parking their cars on the property. They have a gate house where the security guards are guarding the property at night so you can sleep with a peace of mind. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a island getaway.

My partner and I stayed in the 1 bedroom beach bungalow and it was absolutely beautiful! The price is great for what you get! You have basically the living area with a little dining table and couch and a corner kitchen. Bathroom was nice!! Included an outdoor shower with a cute little garden! The view from the room is absolutely gorgeous the beach is literally at your doorstep and you can eat at their restaurant which also right on the beach!! The restaurant have a seasonal menu so the dinner menu changes accordingly to what’s fresh!!! I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough! the staff were amazing and very friendly and welcoming as well as the beautiful owner. We loved it here! and we are definitely coming back!!

From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out was great! Our Garden Bungalow was conveniently positioned close to the beach and the car - lovely set up and spacious inside with towels etc all provided on arrival, kitchen usable with a microwave/fridge nice and cold, bathroom well thought of, and much needed air conditioning unit plus fans was fab👌 The unlimited continental breakfast took ages to come, would be good if we could just go and make our own toast at least. Located close to swimming with the turtles and a shop across the road. Bonus was meeting the owner who greets all the guests and let us all swim (including our pick up crew) after we checked out. Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊

Savaii Lagoon Resort is located on a beautiful sandy beach with the dinning/bar area practically on top of the water!! We stayed in the one bedroom, with a kitchenette which was nice to have the sink and fridge for our needs! The newly installed AC units were a very welcomed bonus!! Perhaps dedicated beach loungers especially for room #5 would be an asset.

We had a very large group, and the staff did a fantastic job accommodating us. It made a huge difference in our stay and experience. The food was fantastic, and the chef and team were able to accommodate our request for family style dishes given the size of our group. The rooms were good, and they all had ACs, which made it for a very pleasant stay. Overall, I gave this experience, hotel, and staff and 5-star review.

The room was a great size. The outdoor shower was great. Best reef snorkelling i have seen. Dinner was delicious. Get rid of the rooster crowing at odd hours and it would be great.

Ligger fantastiskt vackert med fin strand. Rymliga rum med bra AC och fläktar. Utomhustoa och dusch, men med insektsnät. Insektsnät för alla fönster. Bra! Dock finns ingen wi-fi. Trevliga ägare och personal. Bra restaurang precis vid vattnet med bedårande utsikt. Inga myggor alls. Knapphändig frukost, men det är ju oftast det på Samoa. Rekommenderas för några dagars vistelse.

Amazing location with a bar and restaurant right on the water. Truely gives an island feel. Great snorkelling off the beach. The rooms are basic but all is forgiven as it is all creates a more authentic island village atmosphere. One suggestion for improvement would be to have the white pillow cases on the 3 and 4 pillow on the bed too rather than doona pillow cases which seemed worn and scratchy, for those of us that like to sleep with 2 pillows.

Stunning location and incredible snorkelling spot. Owners Robyn and Grant are always around making sure you have everything you need. The food was AMAZING! These guys have found the best chefs on the island. Room was excellent. Clean, tidy, good air con etc. Highly recommend!

A little piece of paradise to totally relax. Good snorkeling & got to swim with the resident turtle Lucy. Beds & pillows could be better. Staff were lovely, food good & very reasonably priced. Overall we loved our time here. Well worth a visit & hope to be back. We had a garden Seaview which had air conditioning which was a lovely surprise. Thanks Grant, Robyn & staff.

The owners Robyn and Grant Thornley are hands on and very welcoming. We traveling with oldest sister 80 a wish of hers before she cannot travel. Unit we had no AC however speaking with Robyn she changed us to a unit that they just put in AC and our older sister happy. She enjoyed the hotel and staff very friendly. Had a great stay. Amazing staff very friendly. Beach grest for younger kids, very safe and reef in close to shore so kids can experience the reef lots of fish and beautiful coral. Property was spacious and nice and tidy. Too many ants crawling around on the bed, towels and in the bathroom from the hibiscus that were left around the room. Loo wasn't flushing well nor was it up to the same standard as the rest of the room. Considering it was a large and spacious room, could consider putting air con in there as having two fans didn't do much. Loved the bar and service offered there. Food was great too! Overall we enjoyed our stay

I'm sorry you found ants in your room, although we do our best to be free of them, unfortunately, they are a part of island life and knowing this, we leave a can of bug spray in each room just in case. We were unaware that the toilet wasn't flushing well. If you had let us know we certainly would have fixed it, or moved you to another room. With the resort being closed for the 2 1/2 years of covid, we know there are some things that are due for an upgrade, and we are planning to put air-conditioning into all our bungalows. We're glad you enjoyed the property and the restaurant and that overall you had an enjoyable stay - thank you for choosing Savaii Lagoon Resort. We hope to welcome you back in the future.

The location is second to none, absolutely superb. We had a magnificent 180 degree uninterrupted view of the pristine lagoon and mountains. All of the staff, from check in to the bar & restaurant as well as support staff were unfailingly helpful, polite and very generous in sharing their local and cultural knowledge. Managers Margaret & Bruce were exceedingly helpful and made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet, out of the way and relaxing holiday in a beautiful location.

The aircon in our room over our bed didn’t work and the fans when it’s was too hot was disappointed. They never changed our sheet once was there for 4 days. We got 4 towels on the first day and one the third day we only got two towels. No fresh towels everyday.

Hello Amanda, Thank you for your comments. In reply, we do not have air con and we do not state that we have aircon. We have only ceiling and floor fans. To be sustainable, towels are not changed every day . They are changed every two days. Sheets are changed after the third night. The compendium in each room explains this and also says that if you wish a change of towels at any time to please inform the office. We are sorry that you were disappointed. We do explain our system and we do our best to ensure that our guests are comfortable. if you had made your dissatisfaction known to the office, it would have been immediately rectified. We cannot rectify if we are not informed.

If you want a fancy resort with all the bells and whistles like air con and TV then don't come to Savaii Beach Lagoon. But if you want to have a REAL holiday, engage with people, relax and adopt Samoan time , have the lagoon at your doorstep, have basic but functional amenities and be treated like a good friend then this is your place.

I completely missed themention of this property not having air conditioning, so at times it was very hot and muggy in our room however the location, kitchen amenities and room views are incredible and we had a beautiful family holiday. There was also an unforseen delay for us in catching our ferry on time to get to Savaii so we arrived a day late to our booking and missed out a whole day in discovering Savaii. Savaii Lagoon Resort really extended their hospitality by offering us credit at the restaurant, when they didnt need to do anything at all as we couldnt have given the required 24hrs notice yet they still tried to make our loss a little less felt.
