「Clean facilities, overall appointment of the suite was nice. The twin bed was a joke, totally uncomfortable. You can expect a lot of foot traffic inside because it’s a communal living space. The doors are exceptionally heavy, so be prepared for door slamming. There is no deadbolt lock on the door or ability to lock it from inside. This did not sit well with me as a solo traveler. The location was not so great. You’ve got a good hoof to get anywhere. In the sweltering heat this was terrible.」

「Hard to access except by taxi. Theres like 150 stairs leading to property then 20 in property and no ac to cool off after. Washroom is size of a tile. Hit my head and back while showering that how small it is not to mention switching between hot cold water because you keep hit the tap.」

「Beautiful property located in Alfama (old part of town). Hosts are lovely and very accommodating. We arrived late and Olinda, who is just wonderful, let us in. Hilarious and warm, we felt right at home. The home has everything you need, the shower was fantastic after a long day of walking around. The courtyard is lovely, we ate breakfast there everyday. Speaking of breakfast, couple of really nice coffee / pastry shops at walking distance (Fora, Augusto). Tram 28 stop very close to the location....
