Cleaning must be better

It was a beautiful room, nevertheless the cushions weren’t clean and we have found an unused condom on the bed from the guests before us. Please clean better

Unterdurchschnittlich

Der Speiseraum für Abendessen und Frühstück war personell unterbesetzt. Die Zeitungen mehr als ein halbes Jahr alt und das Obst vermutlich gleich alt. Im Hotelzimmer fehlte die Garderobenstange, dem Fenster der Schallschutz für eine stark befahrene Straße und die Vorhänge waren zu knapp bemessen, dass man das Zimmer nicht dunkel bekam.

Perfect in every way

I visited this hotel a couple of times before and always go back there. The staff is friendly and helpful and the burgers in the hotel restaurant are the best in the world. Will definitely go back there every time I go to Duisburg. Having been there for the past 6 times I feel like I am part of the family. Regards A. G. Nel.

All around it wasn’t too bad, however 2 things really let it down for me: 1. My room door didn’t lock from the outside. Not a problem when I was in the room, but when I left I realised that if I just pushed the door it would come open. Really unacceptable - it meant I had to take all my belongings with me in the day time. I went to reception to tell them but unfortunately the lady at reception didn’t speak any English (I don’t speak German) and she didn’t seem to be willing to get anyone who spoke English. 2. Noise - the walls are really thin, I could hear constant footsteps upstairs and next door. I’m fine with the noise of traffic and accept that it was windy but the internal noise was a bit too much for my liking. Also, the pillows were a bit strange and the bed quite soft, but that’s just personal preference I guess. Lack of locking door- definitely not ok!

Die Unterkunft war großartig und sehr modern her gerichtet. Das Zimmer war sauber und ziemlich groß für drei Personen. Uns hat ein großer Spiegel direkt im Zimmer gefehlt. Aber im großen und ganzen beewerte ich diese hotel als großartige und würde es auf jeden Fall noch mal buchen. Person und Empfang auch sehr gut und freundlich. Super Lage des hotels.

Tämligen nyrenoverat hotell med gångavstånd till centrum. Mitt rum låg i annat hus än receptionen (ca 50 m emellan byggnaderna) vilket inte är optimalt men hanterbart.

Das Zimmer war ganz nett, allerdings war nur das Bett frisch bezogen. Das Bad und das Zimmer waren ungeputzt, es hat nach Urin gerochen. So schade, es war mein Geburtstag und ich hatte mich so auf das Wochenende gefreut. Ich hatte den Eindruck, hier arbeiten nur Männer.

Comfortable but refurb needs to be complete

The hotel has the opportunity to be great as there is major refurbishment going on at present. Rooms were great and clean and tidy with a great bathroom but no team or coffee making facilities. Additionally lift was out of order and no reception in building as co- sharing with hotel down road at present.( due to refurbishment) However staff were excellent and could not do enough for you. This certainly off shot the issues at present. Will stay again as I am sure in the end it will be a great facility. Good luck with the completion of the refurbishment.

Gutes Hotel in der Innenstadt

Wir benötigten ein Hotel im Innenstadtraum, das einigermßen gut zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Vom Bahnhof sind es ca. 25 Min. Gehweg. Das ist akzeptabel.

Praktisch Hotel mit Comfort

Der Empfang war nett, hilfsbereit und fachlich kompetent. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig von der Räumlichkeiten und stylisch eingerichtet. Leider war das Frühstück um 9:15 am Sonntag ziemlich am Ende und die eine Person vom Personal hat nichts nachgelegt. Wir werden das nicht noch einmal mitbuchen. Zum Abschied bei der Schlüssel Abgabe gab es ein "Ok Danke " . Dürftig😕

Sfeervolle kamers, heerlijk ontbijt, wel gehorig

Personeel was behulpzaam, kamers ruim en gezellig ingericht. Fijn bed. Ontbijt in Hotel Loewe was erg lekker. Kamer was gehorig, wanneer andere gasten de voordeur openen maakt dat erg veel lawaai en ook wandelen op de hal en kamer boven de onze was goed te horen.

Elegant, ubetjent designhotell i en kjedelig by

Hotellet lå 10 min gange fra et svært stille bysentrum. Rommet var elegang og bar preg av en nylig oppgradering med moderne interiør og et lekkert bad, dog uten dusjforheng så det ble vått på hele badet. Det merkeligste var at hotellet var ubetjent. Resepsjon og fellesområder var lagt til et annet hotell, rundt hjørnet og litt opp i gaten (hotel Löven), noe som føltes litt utrygt. Dette skulle imidlertid være en midlertidig løsning. Noe jeg IKKE likte var at det hang en lapp - kun på tysk - til Nightrooms nyankomne gjester med beskjed om å henvende seg til hotel Löven. Hva med gjester som ikke kan tysk?? Nabohotellet, hotel Löven, hvor også frokosten ble servert, hadde en trivelig kombinert kafe/bar/resepsjon. God mat, god frokost og hyggelig, engelsktalende personale. Vi spurte når Nightsrooms egen resepsjon og fellesområde (bar, kafe el.l.) skulle åpne, men det kunne ingen på hotel Löven - som hadde samme eier - opplyse oss om. Duisburg viste imidlertid å være et utrolig kjedelig sted. Vi fant TO åpne serveringssteder etter kl 20, så neste gang finner vi nok en annen by å overnatte i.

Junges Team setzt Traum um. Unkonventionell. Großes Zimmer, hell, farbenfroh, gutes Bett. Leichte Baumängel, z.B. Lichtschalter funktioniert nicht. Frühstück ist gut. Auch unkonventionell. Es gibt selbstgemachte Marmeladen in wunderbaren Einkochgläsern. Kleine Abendkarte. Burger und Steak. Es wird auf Schieferplatten serviert. Sehr zu empfehlen. Preis/ Leistung top.

Nice boutique hotel newly renovated

nice & clean room with balcony ...only issue its along the road and quite be quite noisy if the balcony doors are open...aside that everything is good for the price paid.

Schönes Konzept - leider verfällt es allmählich

Die Bilder von der Einrichtung der Zimmer hatten uns sofort angesprochen. Es ist auch alles da. Aber: Muffige Bettdecken, lose Türklinken, Flecken an der Wand, undichte Duschen, kaputte Regelung der Heizungsanlage...: Offenbar lässt man hier ein mit Sorgfalt ausgetüfteltes Konzept langsam verfallen. Leider nicht (mehr) zu empfehlen.
