Great location, staff, rooms and price

I booked this hotel on a random trip to Bochum. The hotel is at the centre of all the tapas bars so it is great if you want to enjoy the night life. The hospitality is top noch and despite the fact that I couldn’t speak a word in German the staff were happy to speak in English (I promise I will learn the basics before the next trip). The room is unique and spacious and the double glazing helps with dampening the noise from the bars (not that it mattered to me). All in all I highly recommend this hotel for its location, friendly staff and reasonable pricing.

Freundliche Location mit "Licht und Schatten"

Das Art Hotel Tucholski in Bochum liegt direkt am "Bermuda3Eck" einem Teil der Innenstadt-Fußgängerzone, in der sich Restaurants, Kneipen, Bars, Kinos und Imbisse aneinanderreihen. Das ist auf der einen Seite wirklich toll, weil man direkt um die Ecke eine U-Bahn hat und buchstäblich "mittendrin" wohnt. Auf der anderen Seite ist es besonders zur warmen Jahreszeit, in der man bei geöffnetem Fenster schlafen möchte (es gibt keine Klimaanlage) am Wochenende nachts WIRKLICH laut bis in die Morgenstunden hinein. Das geht nur mit Ohrstöpseln, oder mit tropischen Temperaturen bei geschlossenen Fenstern (das Hotel hat sehr gut schallisolierende Fenster). Es gibt im Zimmer zwar einen modernen Ventilator, was für uns wg. der Zugluft und des mangelnden Sauerstoffs aber keine Option war. Die Zimmer sind individuell eingerichtet und sauber, allerdings sind Waschbecken und Toilette ungewöhnlich tief angebracht, was für mich als große Person mit 2 Knie-Endoprothesen wirklich problematisch war. Wir hatten keine Zeit, Restaurant und Frühstück zu testen, es sieht aber alles einladend aus und die Speisekarte ist bestimmt einen Versuch wert. Unsere Zimmer erreichte man über nicht sehr stylische, verwinkelte und enge Treppen, bzw.einen alten, engen Fahrstuhl. Das Zimmer war aber wirklich geräumig, mit gutem Bett, einem Extraraum mit Ankleide-und Gepäckunterbringungsmöglichkeit und einem modernen Smart-TV ausgestattet. Das Personal ist supernett und hilfsbereit.

Hinzukommt dass es für den Zustand völlig überteue

Das Hotel war Schrott. Unsaubere Zimmer die Dusche defekt und die Regenwalddusche völlig verschifft. Ich fahr da nicht noch mal hin. Hinzukommt dass es für den Zustand völlig überteuert ist.

Schönes, zentrales Hotel

Schöne geräumige, saubere Zimmer. Das Fenster ging auf die Partymeile, d.h. offen war es sehr laut, bei geschlossenen Zustand hörte man fast gar nichts mehr. Uns hat es nicht gestört, da wir wussten, an welcher Straße sich das Hotel befindet. Beim Frühstück ist noch Luft nach oben. Das empfohlene Parkhaus war sehr günstig!

Der Aufenrthalt war echt Spitze durch eine Rieifenpanne konnten wir erst nach 18.0 Einchecken was aber gar kein Problem war auf unseren Wunsch hin wurde uns auch sofort ein Taxi bestellt alle waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich also jederzeit wieder in dieses Hotel.

Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und liebe Damen am Empfang und im Service. Zimmer in Ordnung, sauber und ausreichend Platz. Kein Hotel für Familien, aber alleine oder zu zweit jederzeit wieder. Perfekt ist die Innenstadtlage. Das art Hotel Tucholsky empfindet man (ich) auch wie eine Kneipe (mit Stil) um die Ecke in welchem du dich gleich wohl fühlst.

hervoragender Service mit Anruf zur Ankunftszeit, toller Empfang, gut aufeinander abgestimmte Einrichtung, da ist sogar der winzige Türstopper passend zur Badeinrichtung, leider gibt es wg. Corona kein Frühstück aber 100m weiter ist eine Bäckerei und Supermarkt
