"Staff person at the desk was very helpful and friendly. Hotel is older. A little dilapidated. Room was clean but no housekeeping at all that night. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was okay."

"Very disappointing stay. I arrived on May 23 with my three children and didn't get a room until nearly 7 PM. We went to the front desk three times and were repeatedly told the room was still pending. Eventually, we asked staff to physically check the room, and they found it was actually ready. We lost about 2.5 hours waiting and missed the water park that day. Camelback waived parking and gave us three arcade cards, but that didn't make up for the inconvenience. When I asked about reimbursement, I was told nothing could be be done because I booked through Expedia. There were additional issues: housekeeping never serviced our room, the shower handle kept falling off, and the buffet was overpriced for the quality of the food. This was my second stay. The first time I waited about an hour for a room; this time was much worse. Waiting hours for a room with three small children is unacceptable. Between the delay, maintenance issues, and poor service, I don't see myself returning to Aquatopia."

"There was no pool or waterpark access available — only a small, isolated arcade. The security guards were kind, and the arcade staff were very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with the hotel staff and management was extremely disappointing. The manager falsely told me the waterpark would be opening the next day, which convinced me to extend my stay and pay for an extra night unnecessarily. I later found out this information was untrue. The room also had maintenance issues, including a refrigerator that leaked water. On top of that, around 8 a.m., someone attempted to enter our room and kept trying the door handle. Thankfully, I had the security latch engaged, but the situation felt very frightening and unsafe."

"Clean, newly renovated but bathroom needed some attention (ceiling damage in bathroom from some apparent plumbing issue in the room upstairs & the shower curtain rod was an eye sore—poorly installed/fixed). There was plenty of parking, but no parking tags were issued though so anyone could park there I guess (not just guests). And that I see as a security issue. And during our brief 1 night stay, other guests (in rooms right next to us) were “partying” till wee hours of the morning & I needed to tell them about it. We almost went home at 2am instead of staying the rest of the night. (I should’ve called the front desk I suppose, but after I told the guests about it, it was better & I was eventually able to fall asleep!!). I gave a 4 rating however because it was so clean, up to date & the lady at the front desk was great & very friendly! Would go back again & give it another “chance”."
