「We had no bath towels. No sheets on bed. Crumby front desk when I asked for for glasses and where to have a meal. And advised us to have breakfast somewhere else. I walked a few blocks to find a pop machine. Just to say the other Super 8’s were fine. There was a drawer full of old bottles and the place was unclean. But it was late and as seniors who were on the road all day, I asked for some sheets that I put on the bed and slept the night.」
