It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy, with everything I needed (hair dryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh water, toiletries). 「Room was very clean and cosy. One light not working but not a problem as bedside lamp was more than adequate. Staff very friendly on welcoming us. Good set of complementary toiletries and great selection of tea coffee etc」

「A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it...

「We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. 」
