「The hotel is in convenient location for access to main routes to the attractions nearby. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was most enjoyable. Parking is easy. There is a large garden the owners take great pride in.」

「Although the room was a little bit tatty , it was very clean . The bed was super comfortable, I slept really well. The staff were lovely. We ate at Cromwells Tap house and the food was delicious. I would definitely stay here again .」

「Convenient to road system but unaffected by traffic noise. Free parking. Reception friendly and efficient. Lifts available. My room had 2 double beds which made the room seem cramped. The bed I used was comfortable. Ensuite bath with an over shower. I had to fix the shower curtain back on the track to avoid soaking the floor. Food good quality and reasonably priced.」

「A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it...

「The location of this hotel was excellent for exploring the town and area as we were able to walk to everything we planned to visit. The staff were wonderful - always friendly and polite and helpful. An interesting old building, maintained to a reasonable standard but felt due for an update in some areas/respects. Our bed was not great and could do with replacement.」
