「We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. Room is clean and bed is just the right firmness that you can wake up rejuvenated without backache. 「The room wa clean and comfortable. The staff are brilliant. There were a couple of 'issues' when we arrived. TWe couldn't get the bedside lights to work and the radiator was very noisy and not heating. We mentioned this to the staff and both issues were sorted straight away (the fuse switch on the wall had been turned off, hence the lights not working and th radiator had an airlock and needed to be bled).There is some noise from the bar below but this ends when the bar closes at 10.30 and then...
