"Un lugar que necesita mayor personal para mantenimiento. Mejorar el servicio a la habitación ya que es muy limitado. Tiende haber olores de las tuberías del baño. Mucha moscas, deberían instalar lámparas de repelentes. Es un hotel “nuevo” pero parece que lleva años de apertura. Muchos muebles descuidados, luces azueles de los balcones dañadas o sueltas."

"This was our third time at Grand Bavaro Princess and this time we went there as a family with our young daughter. The property is beautiful. The nature and beauty of the place is unbeatable. In terms of food, there seems to be lots of options but it does get very repetitive. Unfortunately my husband and daughter had food poisoning on the 3rd day of our stay and that pretty much ruined the rest of the holiday. It was also difficult trying to get them some bland food to the room. I wanted to take plain rice to the room and the restaurant made it a big deal saying that they usually do not allow food to be taken away. I explained that my husband and daughter are sick with food poisoning and what do they expect me to do. After this I was reluctantly given a container to take back some rice. The language barrier doesn't help either! However, as I said, the property itself is absolutely beautiful. The rooms need some updates and better cleaning but once you step outside it is gorgeous."

"We had an excellent stay overall. The resort itself is beautiful, the food was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing from start to finish. What truly made the experience stand out was the staff — every employee we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their service and attitude made us feel valued throughout our stay. The only downside was the room smell. Housekeeping clearly kept the room very clean, but there was still a persistent musty/humidy odor that never completely went away. It did not ruin the trip, but it was noticeable enough to mention. Despite that issue, we still had a wonderful experience and would definitely return again soon."

"The property was really nice! Beautiful flowers and plants growing everywhere. Coconut and Palm trees swaying beautifully in the breezes. Lovely place to just layout read a book or catch a nice tan as the Pools are large, clean and plentiful. The Bars are well staffed and stocked. Staff guided Pool Side activities were fun to do or just watch everyone else. We stayed on the All Adult side. My complaints are... The Beach: The water! A Massive Sargasim over growth. Nice beach (powder white sands) but too much brownish sargasim growing atop the water and washing ashore. Water is shallow and there are no ocean waves at all. The Food: We had to have reservations to eat in most of the restaurants. We were given a so called $500usd per room per stay resort credit, but it was very unclear how to use it and no one spoke English well enough to explain it or answer our questions. So we did not get to use it. I was also told I could get a free room upgrade, if there was a room available. But ended up being made to pay an addition $300usd to get the upgraded room by the front office. Not sure if that was a scam or not. Overall, The pools more than make up for the lacking beach. But if you love hanging out in clear turquoise blue and green ocean waves on a beautiful sunny beach like we do, this one might not be for you. But, you will find relaxation, and beautiful well kept grounds here all day long."
