「The location was absolutely perfect, the view amazing, and the buildings had a ton of character. Don’t expect luxury amenities and be aware that there is noise from the highway below. Despite this we loved the Peruvian feel of the accommodations and the lovely staff. In our room, we had to go up a set of stairs to the bathroom so be careful if you have mobility impairment.」

「I booked a private room and it was beautiful and very clean. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and the experience was even better than I expected. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful.
It does get a bit noisy because of the bar next door, but it wasn’t enough to bother me, was like white noise, almost soothing. After a certain hour it becomes completely quiet, and the lights in the hallways turn off, no light seeped into the room. Overall, a great stay!

It was really filthy. The sheets were completely yellow, and there were blue stains on the blanket—possibly toothpaste, but I’m not sure. The towels and bath towels had visible stains, and there was dust accumulated for years behind the headboard and deep in the corners of the floor.
