"At first, we felt a bit hesitant since it was someone’s house and there weren’t any clear signs—we just walked onto the property. "It's situated in a great spot in a really vibrant friendly village The rooms on the 4th floor are very hot and they had no a/c of a fan available. The very small window only partially opened, enough for flies to come in but little breeze I recommended that the hotel provide the upper floors with fans always Had a good snack at the hotel Lots of places to go for dinner and drinks nearby"

"Such a quaint old Welsh building in a lovely rural setting just outside of the market town of Ruthin (it is in the middle of a static caravan park but a very pleasant one). A great location for exploring the many places to see around the area . Rooms are of a good size and well equipped. Restaurant menu was limited but is being updated and the prices were reasonable, as was the bar. Breakfast was enough to keep you going for the day. Never got to use the pool but looked inviting. Staff were all very pleasant and Trevor was extremely helpful on our arrival , as the booking had not arrived on their system. All in all, a very nice stay."

"Room clean with everything you need , bathroom too hot couldn’t turn towel rail off ,could do with more privacy blinds all over cabin .All staff brilliant and informative especially young lad who served you tea at breakfast and a special thanks to Linda front of house at breakfast she was very welcoming,and a lovely lady would definitely stay again a hidden gem.Sports bar great .Taxi to Rhyl £14 phone Burts taxis"

"The lodge rooms are superbly quiet with absolutely no road noise although friends staying in the main hotel were disturbed by traffic noise. Lodges are freshly decorated with great bathrooms and excellent daily housekeeping The continental breakfast had a good selection of fruit and yoghurt. The hot food was cooked to order which I much prefer to buffets. The full Welsh breakfast was quite a meagre portion with poor quality sausage, although the other choices such as poached eggs on brioche and cheese omelette with bacon were wonderful. The breakfast staff were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way provided a special order of porridge for a friend with an upset stomach. Overall this is probably the best option if you want a quiet stay and ample free parking on the edge of town within in a very short walking distance of the main busy areas of shops, pubs and restaurants. I didn’t try the hotel restaurant."
