Room was nice and clean, stuff very friendly and also there are 6 parking spaces that belong to the hotel, always found space available… if not you can leave the car on the street but obviously pay for the parking.

The room we booked wasn’t prepared, they only had 1 bed. Staff brought in a pullout instead (which was not comfortable and not sufficient for us), at which point we dropped off our bags and went into the city. Upon returning at 7pm we found that we had no blankets for the pullout anywhere, 4 of the 6 ceiling lights were burnt out and we could hardly get light, and there were no staff there for the rest of the night

Lovely ground floor room , with great amenities. Fantastic welcome from Allessio on the reception desk, he couldn’t have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. My only concern was there was no rubber mat in the shower and I found the floor very slippery.

The Salisbury was a beautifully restored old home in a quiet neighborhood of Edinburgh. We loved our room and the high ceilings, which overlooked the garden. Parking was a little tight, but understandable for the area. One of the highlights was meeting the desk clerk Alessio who greeted us warmly and answered all of our questions about the hotel and area. Just far enough outside downtown to be quiet, but close enough to catch a bus or take a 20 minute walk to the Royal Mile. Breakfast was hearty with many options to get the day going. Would highly recommend!
