Very comfortable clean and well equipped room. Great bar with an excellent selection of whiskies. Excellent food with a small menu. Good service from a friendly, well informed staff who were a great credit to the hotel. Difficult and limited parking. Will certainly visit again.

We highly recommend The Leddie for your next visit to the East Lothian coast. The Leddie provides an elegant and upscale ambiance at a reasonable price. It was perfect for our “home base” for the East Lothian portion of our golf trip which included North Berwick, Gullane, Muirfield and Renaissance Club. The Leddie was renovated within the last two years so the appointments were all fairly new. The dinners and breakfasts were excellent. The staff, including especially the bartending staff, were engaging and friendly. We loved The Leddie and I don’t think you’ll go wrong recommending it to your friends. Richard & McCord Grice

Generally a great ‘boutique’ hotel, with great staff. Very clean and well presented in bedroom and communal areas. Only 5 car spaces on site but plenty free parking on road but in busy periods may be a 100+ meters away. Only real issue we had was room was too hot. A general problem in UK hotels and if no decent air conditioning, as was the case in our room, it made for an uncomfortable night. Would revisit but only when outside temperature was below 18oC to allow room to cool down. Towels were large, TV channels were okay, in room drinking facilities were good. Being a small hotel, all rooms were off a small corridor which meant clear noise as other guests walked past bedrooms along with opening and closing of fire doors. Only dropped from From 5 to 4 star simply due to temperature of room. Staff particularly good.

Wonderful The Leddie

My best recommendations to The Leddie. Fantastic service amazing always smiling and kindly people. Rooms and facilities in top and of course a top class restaurant with a wonderful a la carte breakfast - I love it - and a very good evening carte - the mussels was great. And not to forget lots of whiskeys and cocktails.

Fabulous refurb, stayed here about 12 years ago the transformation is absolutely lovely! Stayed in a standard room, which is on the small size but beautifully decorated with everything you need. Particularly liked the L'Occitane toiletries in the stylish bathrooms. The restaurant and casual areas are very stylish, the food, atmosphere and staff were great, and Aberlady is just an adorable quiet location on the doorstep of 22 golf courses, beaches and fabulous walks. What's not to love! Will definitely be back :-)
