The AC blew out as much hot air as cold, so the room actually got hotter. Great location and nice place otherwise.

This is a clean, basic hotel. Good value for money and good location. It’s a bit tired though and there’s a lot of crap in the hallways which they could put away or get rid of instead of shoving in corners.

We had a pleasant stay. The guest house is in a good location which is within walkable distance from the city centre (about 20 min) and the neighbourhood was reasonably quiet day and night. There's a beautiful church nearby. The staff we encountered were very pleasant and the check-in was a doddle. We were able to check in more than 2 hours earlier with no extra charge. The room itself felt spacious with big Victorian windows. It could have been a bit cleaner and the kitchen a bit better equipped but no major complaints. Free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out was a great bonus. Overall a positive experience, would stay here again.

This was a great location at a good price. We walked to most everything we wanted to see but the buses and trams were not far away. The kitchen had everything we needed. We would stay here again on our next trip to Edinburgh.
