Fantastic location for a stop over

Eden is a wonderful location with views all around. The motel is conveniently located at one end of the main shopping street. The room was neat and tidy with a massive bed & all we needed for self catering. The only downside was that the walls are a little thin and our neighbour snored very loudly!

I was going to arrive later than intended, so I called the motel about 4 hours beforehand to let them know. Arti was good enough to SMS through some instructions on how to access a room key. The hotel is well located and I was pleased that it was quiet, given its location on a key street.

We booked and paid for one night through wotif.com at $155 a night but as we were going to be in Eden earlier than expected we rang to book another night and we were charged $265 for the extra night. I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the motel as it was very rundown and did not seem to have had any maintenance done in a very long time. The bathroom had mould and the room smelt old and dirty. I feel that for over $400 for the 2 nights we were taken advantage of. Would not recommend this motel to anyone else.

Expectation dashed

I booked a king bed with bath but on arriving there was no bath in the room. After questioning this fact at reception, we were told it was advertised incorrectly on Hotels.com. Why was this acceptable? In the end she offered us a suit at a reduced price but we didn’t want to spend the extra $$$. The room really needed a new bathroom sink & carpet etc. The bed was very good.

Didn't like no cover on the doona and the doona was stained. Being told to hurry up and check out at 10:00, then 5 mins later and 5 mins after that - yet no one around, let alone cleaners waiting to make up the room, what happened to making a customer feel welcome and important.
