"We had an excellent one night stay at this hotel. The property and room were clean, there is a beautiful outdoor pool that was open until about 9:30 or 10pm, a restaurant and a 24hr bar onsite. They also offer an airport shuttle to and from the hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. They were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was a thoughtful surprise at the restaurant. The staff came out to sing “Happy Birthday,” which was such a special touch. It was especially impressive since Luis at the front desk must have noticed the date on a passport during check-in; an incredibly considerate detail that made the experience feel personal and memorable. It was the perfect way to spend our first night in Ecuador, and we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the country. Highly recommend this hotel for both the service and the overall experience."

"The breakfast was wonderful and everything was very fresh. The rooms were clean, but to keep the airplane noise down, it is necessary to keep the windows closed--which leads to a warm room as the night progresses. The pillows they provide are rock hard and, hopefully, they listened to our recommendation and have changed them to ones that are more comfortable. They offer water from a 5-gallon bottle from which you can fill up a large glass jug they provided in the rooms. The grounds are enormous and well-maintained. Llamas wonder around mowing the lawn. "

"What a special property. The grounds were so beautiful especially the 110 year old avocado trees that reminded us of live oaks. The staff was so wonderful, because they weren’t fully booked, they gave us our choice of rooms. We chose one with a spectacular view of Banos Pueblo below. Our reservation included breakfast and dinner which was excellent, lots of choices both local and international. We also used the spa, which was affordably priced and very nice. The pools and terrace cafe was an excellent place to watch the sunset. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the Banos de Agua Santos area."

"We had such a wonderful stay at Suchipakari Lodge. The property is absolutely beautiful—you truly feel like you’re deep in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by nature in the most peaceful way. One of the highlights for us was the on site chocolate tour. It was not only fascinating but also delicious, and such a unique experience to have right there at the lodge. We also went tubing with our young kids, and it was both very safe and incredibly fun, something the whole family could enjoy without any stress. I also did the night walk with my 5 year old, which was such a special experience. It was fun and exciting, and we learned so much along the way. Of course, the guide was incredibly kind and patient. What really made our stay special, though, was the energy of the staff. Every single person we interacted with was kind, calm, and genuinely welcoming. There’s a peacefulness about the place that feels contagious, maybe it really is the jungle life. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and grateful for the experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking to truly disconnect and immerse themselves in nature."
