"Charming hotel in a beautiful and peaceful fjord setting. The historic character of the building combined with modern comfort made our stay very special. The rooms were clean and cozy, the staff were kind and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Our room wasn’t at the front building if you are lucky enough to have a room there you can enjoy the view. Parking was easy and free. The surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning, especially in the morning. A perfect place to relax while exploring East Iceland. We truly enjoyed our stay."

"A great place to stay in Seydisfjordur. My room was very clean and comfortable. There is a large kitchen which provides guests free coffee and use of cooking utensils for meal preparation. The staff was most helpful in suggesting a place to eat for the evening. Overall, I was very happy with my stay."

"Nice enough hotel but i can give full score to hotels without a fridge. A electric keytle would be nice as pod machines never get hot enough for me. Staff at check-in were wonderful. "

"Friendly and helpful staff. Good Breakfast. Hot tub in scenic setting. The room with private bath and mountain view. The location was a little bit remote off a dirt road, which was not well maintained, but very scenic drive to get in there. Make sure you arrive in daylight. This was one of our favourite accommodations on our Ring Road tour. Hoped to see the northern lights, but got too good a rest. :)"
