「Yes the write up may say that the venue is open late and has music but our whole room was vibrating from the said musicians til gone 3am. Then the noise of people and staff leaving. I think we managed just a couple of hrs sleep before a LONG drive home. Yes they give you ear plugs but they don’t help at all.」

「The attic rooms, which are expensive, are not fit for purpose in hot weather. No air-con, of course, but you can barely open the windows. The sun blasts on to the roof just above and creates an oven! The provided fan was little help. Very bad night's sleep. The unhelpful receptionist told me that the hot room was due to the heat. 「Mark and Rich were amazing hosts. Excellent restaurant suggestions. Our room was in the basement at the back and it was cool and quiet. Very clean and the common area where breakfast was served and the area where you could sit and look out at the water was way bigger than we expected. Breakfast was extra and well worth it.
